Did you know that your innovative classroom idea could earn money for your school? The Foundation for Blended and Online Learning has established the Innovative Educator Prize Program to support educators’ creative endeavors!
Win $10,000 for Your Blended Learning Initiative
Each year The Foundation for Blended and Online Learning gives awards of up to $10,000 per project. This money can be used for technology, professional development, curriculum, software, and/or classroom supplies and related materials.
Educators have until May 31, 2018, to put their best online and blended learning ideas forward in order to qualify as possible recipients for grant money from the Foundation for Blended and Online Learning. The organization will be awarding up to $10,000 for winning proposals. The 2018 Innovative Educator Prize (IEP) recognizes and offers support to licensed K-12 educators developing practices or programs for addressing achievement gaps, boosting student engagement, and personalizing learning through online and hybrid approaches.
Winners will document their projects and results to share with other education leaders. Find the online application here. Applications are being accepted now through May 31, 2018. The portal can be accessed at https://www.blendedandonlinelearning.org/grant-program.
Blended Learning Demystified
Giving students devices does not equal blended learning. Blended learning is an exciting opportunity to personalize education. When blended learning is done the right way, technology is leveraged to inform instruction. It increases student productivity and prevents wasting time on skills they have already mastered. Blended learning ultimately transforms schools to become more productive and user-friendly for students, administrators, and teachers.
Istation is a blended learning solution for reading, math, and Spanish for grades pre-K through 8.
